Established in 2019 with like-minded individuals, Central Moment was initially founded by Brent Johnson to be home to the most extensive demographic database.
A sophisticated database which can be easily integrated with data points beyond the horizon to create metrics driven solutions.

Brent has over 30 years of experience in marketing science, market research, and data analytics. Before starting Central Moment, Inc., Brent was the director of Data Sciences at International Planning and Research Inc. Previously he worked at Intel Corp as a Forecasting and Marketing Science Manager. Brent holds B.S. and MBA degrees from Brigham Young University. He also earned his Ph.D. in marketing at The Pennsylvania State University.
When not working on client projects, Brent enjoys snow skiing in the winter and all manner of summer sports near his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Salt Lake City
David has focused on demographics research and forecasting for the last 12 years, before which he specialized in economic statistics with the UK national statistics office (ONS). He is therefore particularly knowledgeable about the systems being used to produce national statistics. This helps Central Moment build a set of demographic estimates that clients can trust.
In terms of academic background, David is a physicist first (University of Durham, UK) but also has an MBA from Warwick University.

Shabari is most curious about identifying the elements that define a market and finding those addressable gaps. With her experiences in the US and India she has accumulated an in-depth list of market research skills and processes working with various Fortune 500 brands. From longitudinal studies, market potential studies, to product and pricing studies, Shabari brings thought, guidance, and attention to detail in every aspect of the engagement.
Her interest in quantitative, analytical, and marketing data has led her to focusing a career on marketing research where she gets to help clients optimize their resources and focus on the ‘how’. Shabari lives in warm sunny weather, in South India by the coast. When she is away from her desk her curiosity leads her to explore the far corners of the world.
